Symptoms and Development of COVID-19

Coronavirus, or COVID-19, has been around for several months now, but the information on what to look for in symptoms can still be confusing for many of us. As the virus continues to circulate, the CDC continues to add to the list of what to look for and how to determine if you need to quarantine and/or seek care. So far there are a wide range of symptoms reported by the CDC:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

The CDC states that symptoms can develop anywhere from 2 days to 14 days after exposure, so it is important to Own Your Health by continuing to be vigilant in avoiding illness.
