Sprains & Strains

Sprains occur when you stretch or tear a ligament (tissue that connects bones or holds together a joint). Sprains are most common in wrists, ankles, knees, and feet. Sprains are more serious and involve a tear or stretch in a muscle or tendons. The most common types of strains are hamstrings and hip flexors.
