We are so excited to welcome Dr. Joshua Neal to the Medac family!

Dr. Neal is a board-certified family medicine physician with special interest in urgent and emergency care. During his time completing his degree from UNC – Chapel Hill, he worked as an emergency medical technician and on a local technical rescue team. He completed medical school at Albany Medical College with a distinction in service.

After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and completed a residency in family medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Dr. Neal deployed to Egypt where he was the officer-in-charge of a busy multinational medical clinic. He then completed an additional 3 years at an Army medical clinic in Germany where he worked as a staff physician and chief of executive medicine. He has completed additional training in advance trauma, combat casualty care, and tropical infectious disease.

Dr. Neal returned to Charleston where he is close to his sisters and father. When he is not in clinic you will find him surfing, fishing, hiking, crossfitting, or doing some adventure travel.

Dr. Neal will be providing care at our North Charleston location!
