It is not true that Urgent Cares are Emergency Rooms.
While urgent care centers provide many of the same services as ER’s, we are not an ER. If you have trouble breathing, chest pain and/or uncontrollable bleeding, or are having an anaphylactic response, please call 911 and visit an ER.
For a complete list of our most common services please visit our Patient Services page.
It is not true that Urgent Cares are only for evenings & weekends.
Our centers are open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. This gives you options for convenient and affordable care throughout the day, in the evenings and on the weekends! We accept walk-ins and we also have a Save My Spot option for online check-in and electronic registration!
It is not true that Urgent Care staff are not as good as emergency room staff.
Our team is the number one factor in making sure that you get proper medical care. Our associates have the same training and credentials as any other medical facility. It’s important to us that we an both give great care, and do it in a timely manner!
It is not true that Urgent Care’s cost the same as an ER.
One of the biggest differences in Urgent Care and Emergency Care is the cost. In most cases, we can provide the same/similar services as emergency rooms for a fraction of the cost. A recent study completed by Health Grades showed that the average cost of going to an urgent care center was under $150, versus as ER which was closer to $1,000 for the same/similar services.
It is not true that Urgent Cares have very little resources.
Our urgent cares have x-ray capabilities, in-house labs, and third-party lab partners. We also work with many local specialists and primary care providers to better serve our patients in continuing care. We are currently testing for COVID-19 and performing antibody testing at our centers from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
If you need us, we look forward to helping you Get Better. Faster!
