It’s times for this week’s Provider of the Week! And today we want to recognize Tameka Irvin, one of our fabulous Family Nurse Practitioners!

Tameka is one of those people that knew from an early age that she wanted to care for others. As she grew older, she discovered that that desire to care for others was her life’s purpose. Naturally, that desire lead her to medicine.

First, Tameka pursued and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Upstate. From there she continued her education at the University of Cincinnati, earning her Masters of Science in Nursing focusing on Adult-Gerontology. The final step of Tameka’s education was completion of her Post Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University.

For fun, Tameka spends time with family and travels!
