Geographic Spread: Widespread flu activity, Seventeenth week at this activity level

Influenza Activity: Overall, no change

Influenza Like Illness Activity Level: High

Hospitalizations: 2697 this season, 138 in the past week

Flu-Associated Deaths in SC: 99 this season, 6 this week

Coronavirus Illness (COVID-19) Tracking!

As of today, at 12pm, the CDC has updated their US reports to include 46 states and the District of Columbia. States still excluded are Alabama, Idaho, and West Virginia.

Nationwide there have been 1629 reported cases and 41 reported deaths associated with COVID-19.

Dr. Nancy Messonnier, Director at the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases said in a CDC telebriefing on 3-4-2020: “States are reporting results quickly and in the event of a discrepancy between CDC and state case counts, the state case counts should always be considered more up to date.”
