Provider of the Week – Dr. Matthew Radack
August 22, 2019
It’s times for this week’s Provider of the Week! And today we want to recognize Dr. Matthew Radack!
Dr. Radack decided that he wanted to be a physician when he was eight. He had fallen out of a tree and ended up rupturing his spleen. A military corpsman at the base clinic recognized the seriousness of his injury and sent him on to the Children’s Hospital where he had a splenectomy. At that point he then knew than that he wanted the excitement and challenge of emergency medicine.
Dr. Radack attended the University of Rochester where he majored in biology and then stayed on for medical school. He did a military residency in emergency medicine at Wright State/Wright-Patterson in Dayton, Ohio.
During his spare time, Dr. Radack enjoys spending time on the beach with him family!
